Welcome to Jing Yang

Albrechtstr. 125, 12165 Berlin, Germany

General Info

Tucked away at Albrechtstr. 125, 12165 Berlin, Germany, Jing Yang is the kind of Chinese restaurant that quietly earns its reputation through flavor, comfort, and consistency. From the moment you step in, there’s a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it ideal whether you’re stopping by for a quick solo dining experience or settling in for a longer meal.

The menu feels thoughtfully curated, balancing classic comfort dishes with a few standout specialties. One of the first things I tried was the Beef Noodle Soup, and it immediately set the tone. The broth was rich without being overpowering, and the noodles had that perfect bite. It’s the kind of dish you keep going back to, especially on cooler days.

Another highlight that shouldn’t be missed is the Xiaolongbao Mit Schweinefleisch. These soup dumplings arrive steaming hot, delicate yet packed with flavor. Each bite bursts with savory goodness, and you can tell they’re made with care. On the slightly heartier side, the Geschmorter Schweinebauch Mariniertes Ei Und Gemüse delivers deep, comforting flavors. The pork belly is tender, paired beautifully with marinated egg and vegetables that round out the dish.

What stood out to me as well was the Gebratene Maultaschen Schweinefleisch-lauch-frühling. It’s a unique offering that blends textures and flavors in a satisfying way. Meanwhile, the Yu Xiang Pork adds a nice balance with its bold, slightly tangy profile-perfect if you’re looking for something with a bit more punch.

Beyond the food, Jing Yang makes dining easy and accessible. There’s wheelchair accessible seating and a wheelchair accessible parking lot, which is always a plus. If you’re driving, parking is available nearby, so getting there is hassle-free. The restaurant also offers healthy options, which makes it appealing if you’re trying to keep things light without sacrificing taste.

From a reviewer’s perspective, what makes this place memorable isn’t just one dish-it’s how everything comes together. The menu feels cohesive, the service is smooth, and the overall experience is consistently enjoyable. It’s the kind of spot you’d recommend to friends without hesitation, especially if they’re exploring Chinese cuisine in Berlin and want something reliable yet full of character.

If you’re browsing through reviews or looking for a dependable location for your next meal, Jing Yang fits naturally into that shortlist. It’s simple, satisfying, and genuinely enjoyable without trying too hard.

What customers say?

“ we are 2 persons and ordered vegetarian options. the vegetarian dumpling is nice. but the tofu with rice is amazing. The super soft tofu with the special sauce, definitely recommend to people who like to eat tofu. Definitely will come back again!! ”

“ The best homemade Chinese dumplings, buns and noodles in Berlin. Everything is made from scratch and with high quality ingredients. Make sure to try the scallion oil noodles and pan fried dumplings with chives. The owner is very friendly and welcoming too. ”

“ We were looking for a new experience since restaurant Selig (Kantstr.) Has closed and Tian Fu has "optimized" price value ratio. The restaurant offers fresh self made noodle but not during the holiday season so we could not try it. Nevertheless the food that we tried (chinese basics: cucumber salad, dumplings, sichuan cold chicken) was very nice and the servings were nit too small. Price was reasonable and the service was friendly. The restaurant itself is not big .. so you better have a reservation for dinner - lunch on monday was ok. Recommended! ”

“ With so many Chinese restaurants around, Jing Yang isn’t exceptional - it’s just a decent option if you’re in the Rathaus Steglitz area. The wonton soup broth was under-salted to my taste. The dumplings were ok, although I’ve had much better in Berlin. The spicy beef dish was a big portion and tasted fine, except for a few slightly undercooked pieces. The service was ok but quite slow. Prices were slightly high, in my opinion. ”
